Ballymaloe Cookery School is a privately funded school, however we do have some funding options available. Recently we have worked with a group of past pupils to create a scholarship fund which provides substantial help towards the cost of the course.
We offer a small number of part funding scholarships to Irish Citizens between the age of 18 - 23 . The Scholarship is funded by past students and for 2026 provides €10,000 towards the cost of the course and accommodation.
The intention is for the scholarship to be taken up by someone who otherwise would not be in a position to make the financial commitment required to attend the course.
This scholarship application relates to our 12 Week Certificate Course starting on Monday 21st of September 2026.
