Maunika Gowardhan

Maunika Gowardhan was a Guest Chef at the Ballymaloe Cookery School on the 5th of November 2016.

Born and raised in Mumbai, she now lives in the U.K. where she works as a private chef and food writer, sharing her passion for authentic Indian dishes that reflect her traditional upbringing and heritage.

Her style of cooking is centred around the earthy spices, fresh herbs and blends that are synonymous with Indian cuisine.

On this course, Maunika demonstrated how to easily bring together dishes and meals that are full of flavour, making them part of your everyday lifestyle.

Maunika's debut cookbook Indian Kitchen: Secrets of Indian Home Cooking is full of inspiring recipes.
